Project Specialist Job Description
The project specialist will work in a multidisciplinary environment in support of research on housing, neighborhoods, and health.
The Job Responsibilities Include
- Uses Stata and other statistical programs as necessary (e.g. SAS, R) to extract, clean, manage, and analyze data in support of the research project.
- Generates graphs, charts or tables to present analysis results and provides interpretation.
- Participates in writing of reports, research papers, articles and other documentation of project status and/or administrative activities or project results.
- Prepares reports, correspondence, other materials and analysis according to project schedules.
- Assists with organizing and scheduling activities to meet research objectives and study protocol compliance.
- Communicates with study team personnel to ensure study procedures are followed and research is performed as described in protocol.
Qualifications
- Ability to produce careful and detail-oriented work
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong writing skills
- Basic understanding of statistical methods; Knowledge of statistical programming (SAS or STATA)
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree; Bachelors degree with some experience will also be considered Preferred Experience: 3 Years Education Requirements Major in economics, statistics, quantitative social sciences, or related field required. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree Minimum Experience: 2 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related education and experience to be able to advise on project procedures and analysis techniques
