Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate between Direct, Wholesale and Retail replenishment operations to ensure that proper workflow is achieved on the shift.
- Interact with management and cross-functional employees to resolve issues affecting overall operations.
- Ability to develop working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Develop, coach and mentor supervisors, leads and associates for future advancement.
- Set clear performance expectations and give appropriate recognition for performance.
- Enforce progressive disciplinary policies with department supervisors.
- Address associate’s needs and communicate the issues to the department Sr. Ops Manager, Director and Human Resources.
- Identify preventive maintenance and safety concerns.
- Assure that LP controls are being followed.
- Led and/or participate in start-up meetings
- Inspect the quality of work and accuracy.
- Cross train Associates in all departments to build depth in all departments.
- Provide necessary equipment and supplies to support staff.
- Assist in all departments as needed.
- All other duties assigned by Director.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
- College degree in Logistics, Business, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of post-college experience in direct-to-consumer fulfillment environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds
- Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
