An Operations Manager has an advanced understanding of E-commerce, Wholesale and Retail replenishment fulfillment to successfully execute in a multi-channel fulfillment center. As a strategic and proven leader, they will thrive in a fast pace and a production goal-oriented environment. They will anticipate, solve problems, and multi-task with attention to detail. They posses working experience utilizing various MHE automation methods such as cross belt unit and shipping sorters, high density wave/tote buffer and pack to wall packing method, WMS (Manhattan) and OMS (Sterling) is highly desired.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate between Direct, Wholesale and Retail replenishment operations to ensure that proper workflow is achieved on the shift.
  • Interact with management and cross-functional employees to resolve issues affecting overall operations.
  • Ability to develop working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Develop, coach and mentor supervisors, leads and associates for future advancement.
  • Set clear performance expectations and give appropriate recognition for performance.
  • Enforce progressive disciplinary policies with department supervisors.
  • Address associate’s needs and communicate the issues to the department Sr. Ops Manager, Director and Human Resources.
  • Identify preventive maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Assure that LP controls are being followed.
  • Led and/or participate in start-up meetings
  • Inspect the quality of work and accuracy.
  • Cross train Associates in all departments to build depth in all departments.
  • Provide necessary equipment and supplies to support staff.
  • Assist in all departments as needed.
  • All other duties assigned by Director.


Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

  • College degree in Logistics, Business, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of post-college experience in direct-to-consumer fulfillment environment


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds
  • Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
