UPMC Corporate is hiring a Marketing Communications Intern to join our team for Summer 2023! This position will work under the general direction of the director and lead communications specialists, handles various projects to provide communications to internal and external audiences in support of UPMC’s mission.
The position will work Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The position will have a hybrid schedule with working at the US Steel Tower in Downtown Pittsburgh and work from home opportunities! This position will be a paid internship at the hourly rate of $20.

Responsibilities
- Research, interview, and write patient stories, blog content, and other digital and print collateral.
- Project manage variety of digital and print projects with varying levels of complexity and sophistication as assigned.
- Demonstrate professionalism and service-oriented behavior in interactions with clients and co-workers.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize projects appropriately.

Complete projects on strategy, on time, and within budget, as applicable.
Qualifications

Currently enrolled in final year of Bachelor’s program focusing on Marketing, Communications or related study.
