The Division of Thoracic Surgery withing the Department of Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is recruiting a faculty member at the Assistant Professor of Surgery level for a Board Certified thoracic surgeon with skills and interest in thoracic surgery. Qualified candidates will be involved in the care of patients, teaching residents, collaboration in clinical or basic science research and continuing education. Must possess advanced thoracic surgery skills.

The annual base salary range for this position is $350,000-$400,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
