As part of the Keck School of Medicine, Department of Urology’s Physician Assistant fellowship program, we are seeking a Physician Assistant fellow who will have hands-on experience and training with patient care. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Urology physician and senior Urology Physician Assistant Faculty, the Physician Assistant fellow will be able to obtain detailed and accurate medical histories from urology patients; develop and implement patient management plans; perform routine procedures; perform and/or interpret laboratory, radiological, cardiographic, and other routine diagnostic procedures; educate and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens; respond to emergencies; and initiate treatment until relieved of duties by a urology physician.and implements patient management plans. The monthly salary for this position is $5,373.34. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree Minimum Experience: 0-6 Months Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience Minimum Field of Expertise: Current California license for Physician Assistant and National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
